Puzzles are a picture on the cardboard cut into the elements. In advertising, the photo puzzles are most often looked for and they relate to the souvenirs. Photo puzzles are a picture in the form of a puzzle or they can be any image printed for you to order. They are distinguished by several types of the manufacturing material and several puzzle printing technologies.

Making of the puzzles consists of choosing the material of the blank of the product itself and printing the layout on it. The material can be cardboard, vinyl magnet or fabric blank. The cardboard itself is the most common but there are many types of it. From the technology of printing the puzzles, the cardboard may turn yellowish, usually it is white matte or glossy. The production of the puzzles is done either on already cut blanks or after printing the blank is cut out by a die cut form. Their size can be as standard paper formats: A4, A3, A2, A1, and in the shape of a heart. After printing and die-cutting elements, the puzzle is packed in a box on which the assembled image of the product is glued or put any other way.

Printing of the puzzles is done most often with two technologies: sublimation and lamination. The image is printed on the special paper with the help of the sublimation then under a heat press is transferred to a white blank which has already been cut. Due to the high temperature, the cardboard becomes a little orange, and the image itself despite the fact that it is full-color, changes its colors after the heat press. The second technology is laminating, it is when the image is printed on the photo paper with the help of the digital printing and then glued onto a piece of cardboard, vinyl or other material. After laminating, the billet is placed under a die cut form and it gets cut out. Thanks to this technology, you can choose the color, the picture is of the high quality, and the cardboard remains white.
