3D Stickers

3D stickers are a type of printing products which is also called shield or polymeric stickers in advertising. Shields are overlays which can be metal or 3D stickers. Our product consists of some film with an image, polymer resin and a layer of glue. Three-dimensional stickers are used in the labeling of goods, in souvenirs as well as the gifts representing your company to customers or partners.

Printing of the 3D stickers is performed most often with two technologies: the digital printing or silk-screening. Since the label consists of some film, we take the vinyl film from the Oracal, Ritrama or JAC companies and print on it a full-color image using digital printing. Or else we take the same film but we print it with silk-screening according to the color, it is reasonable only for big numbers. You can print with large format printing or offset printing but the quality is not very good or the price for printing itself is high so these technologies are rarely used.

The production of 3D stickers after printing also implies the application of epoxy or polyurethane resin. This is done on already printed sheets. The difficulty in making stickers is to equally cover all the stickers with resin so that the resin covers everywhere up to the outline and the stickers are equally thick everywhere. Another difficulty is to mix the resin in such a way that it does not have bubbles and while pouring it does not catch any dust, otherwise it is considered a fault. This can be achieved with the help of a vacuum pump and experience. Also the resin can be used either soft or hard. And when preparing the layout, it is impossible to leave sharp corners as the resin tends to tighten, and all edges will be rounded.

For additional effects in the manufacture of 3D stickers you can use not the regular film but some holographic, metal, decorative, gold etc. Or else on the already printed labels before pouring resin, you can make embossing with gold, purple or light green foil, the effect will be worth the money.
